Default Spatial Conform?

I often shoot in 16:9 with cropmarks, knowing that I'll be able to add 21:9 cropmarks afterwards in FCP. I've recently been thinking about using a 21:9 project, then scaling up my 21:9 footage, you can do this by setting spatial conform to fill. Is there any way to set this as default???
